Rant: I picked Python over JavaScript for my first language and now I keep seeing job posts asking for both
I started with Python about 4 months ago because everyone on Reddit said the syntax was easier for a total beginner, and honestly they were right, I got a little scraper working in like 2 weeks. But now I'm looking at entry level listings in my area and almost all of them say "JavaScript required" or "Python/JS" so I'm wondering if I should have just gone with JS from the start. Did you pick one first and stick with it, or did you end up learning both early on and how did that go?
