Spent 4 hours last night debugging a missing semicolon in JavaScript
I was working on a simple calculator project for about 3 weeks now, just to learn the basics. Last night in my garage after dinner I was staring at this error in the console for what felt like forever. Turns out I forgot one single semicolon on line 47 in VSCode. Has anyone else spent way too long hunting down a tiny typo like that?

Man I used to be all about how semicolons don't matter in JS but after one 2am debugging session where I missed one and my whole app crashed I completely changed my tune. It's crazy how such a tiny thing can break everything and make you feel like an idiot for hours. Now I just slap them in everywhere because the peace of mind is worth the extra typing.

Did you end up switching to a linter that catches those, or are you just manual about it now?
