Started with Python instead of JavaScript for my first project in Denver

Had to pick between Python and JavaScript for a simple data sorting tool. Chose Python because the syntax felt cleaner for a beginner. Built a script that organized 500 customer emails in about 3 hours. Anyone else start with Python and feel it was the right call?

My old roommate spent six months learning Python for data science, then his first job needed him to build internal web tools. He said learning JavaScript felt like starting over from scratch. It's like we're always training for the wrong race.
