That "learn Python in 24 hours" course I bought 3 years ago just collected dust on my shelf

Last month I finally tossed the DVD out after realizing those crash courses just teach you syntax without actually building anything real, has anyone else had better luck with a specific project based tutorial?

My buddy tried one of those and ended up just watching Netflix instead...

So the thing is though, you gotta actually work the system. Most people just buy it and expect magic. You have to curate your inputs. Feed it the right stuff. Filter out the junk. My buddy did the same thing as yours at first. But once he locked down his algorithm and blocked the time-wasting channels, it became his main learning tool.
