That library coding workshop that rewired my brain

I went to a free intro to HTML workshop at the downtown library 3 months ago, and the way they broke down tags like building blocks just clicked for me. The instructor had us literally cut out paper cards with tags on them and arrange them on a table before typing anything. I sat there for 2 hours moving div cards around like puzzle pieces and suddenly understood nesting in a way no video ever showed me. Has anyone else had a random in-person thing make a concept finally stick?

Grab yourself a whiteboard and draw boxes within boxes to visualize it.
