Thought SQL was overhyped until I used it for a garage inventory

I spent months avoiding SQL because I figured spreadsheets were enough. Then I put my 300+ tool collection into a SQLite database last Sunday and ran a query to find every 10mm socket I own. Honestly, watching it filter in under a second felt like magic compared to scrolling a sheet. Has anyone else had that moment where a basic query beats your old system?

Spreadsheets still work fine for 300 tools, SQL just makes you feel smarter.
