Wasted 3 months on a $200 Python course that taught me nothing I couldn't get from free YouTube tutorials.
I bought that popular 'Zero to Hero' course and all I got was a bunch of theory slides when I really needed hands-on practice with real bugs.

A buddy of mine cried watching his money go down the drain on that same course.

Wait, @mary462, are you sure it was the same course? I thought that program had a money-back guarantee if you didn't like the first few modules. Maybe your buddy signed up for the wrong version or missed the deadline for a refund. I've seen people panic and pull out too early without checking the fine print first. It's worth double-checking, because sometimes the complaining is louder than the actual policy.

Yeah I've been through something similar with online courses. A lot of them have those money-back windows but they're super specific about what counts as the first few modules. Sometimes it's literally the first 7 days or the first 3 lessons and if you miss that tiny window you're stuck. Your buddy should check the actual terms and conditions not just the sales page. I've seen people get refunds months later just by emailing support and being polite about it too.
