Dumped my Aeropress grinds into the sink and clogged it bad
Was at a friend's place in Portland making coffee after brunch and just rinsed everything down the drain like an idiot. 45 minutes of plunging later I learned coffee grounds don't dissolve. Anyone else have a plumbing disaster from something stupid like this?

Oh yeah, I learned the hard way too. Dish soap and boiling water saved me.

Three times now I've had to snake a drain that someone tried the dish soap trick on first. Did you let it sit for a full fifteen minutes before the boiling water? I found out the hard way that rushing that step just makes the soap foam up and block the pipe worse.
