Just realized cold brew at Joe's Cafe changed my whole view on iced coffee

I stopped by Joe's Cafe downtown last Saturday after hearing everyone rave about their pour-overs, but I grabbed their cold brew on a whim. It was so smooth and not bitter at all, completely different from the watery iced coffee I usually make at home. Has anyone else had a random drink at a specific place that made you rethink your whole routine?

Oh great, another person converted by Joe's overpriced bean water... I swear that place could sell dirt with a fancy name and people would say it's life-changing. I tried their cold brew once and yeah it was fine, but then I went back to my regular gas station iced coffee and realized I just like the caffeine more than the taste. Maybe I'm the weird one for drinking battery acid every morning.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Joe's doesn't actually use bean water, their cold brew is made from steeping grounds for 12 hours or something like that. Honestly the gas station stuff is way more acidic because it's brewed hot and sits around, so you're basically drinking battery acid with a hint of coffee flavor. Tbh if it gets you through the morning that's all that matters anyway.
