Just realized my neighbor's 5 AM coffee ritual is why he knows everyone on our block
He told me at the bus stop last Tuesday, 'The trick is to brew a whole pot and just sit on your porch with two mugs, someone always stops by before you finish the second one.'

Maybe it's just me but that seems like a bad idea. It could cause more problems later on. I'd go a different way.
