My morning pour overs used to take 8 minutes until I bought a better kettle
I was using this old stovetop kettle that poured way too fast and I could never get the water temp right. Switched to a gooseneck electric kettle last month and now my pour overs are done in about 4 minutes with way less channeling. Has anyone else noticed that big a change just from the pouring tool itself?

Yeah "way less channeling" is code for "I finally stopped pouring like a fire hose.

Yeah the "way less channeling" part is the real kicker. That uneven extraction was killing your brew time before. Took me a while to realize how much the pour control mattered.
