Serious question, did a clogged grinder chute change anyone else's mind about cleaning after every bag?
I used to think brushing out the grinder between bags was a waste of time, until last Tuesday when my morning cup came out thin and sour and I couldn't figure out why. Pulled the top off my Encore on the kitchen counter in Reno and found about 4 grams of old oily grounds packed in the chute, some of it from a dark roast I finished 3 weeks ago. Scraped it out with a chopstick, ran a handful of cheap beans through, and the next cup had the body back. Now I brush it out every time I switch bags and it takes 2 minutes. What's your go to tool for digging out a chute without pulling the whole burr assembly apart?
