Spent $40 on a basic burr grinder and it made way more difference than I expected
I used to think as long as you ground fresh, a blade grinder was fine. Borrowed a friend's Encore last week and tried the same beans back to back. My morning cup went from bitter and muddy to actually tasting like what the bag says. Wish I did this years ago. Anyone else hold off on upgrading something small and regret waiting?
