Tried a hario switch for the first time last weekend and got something totally different

I did a 4 minute immersion brew with 18g of coffee and 300ml water at 205F, then let it drain through a v60 filter. The cup came out super clean but with no body at all, almost like tea. Has anyone else had their go-to recipe turn out way different with a new brewer?

Did I accidentally make coffee or just drink hot water through a wet paper towel?

Ditch the full immersion for a minute and try a hybrid method. Do a 30 second bloom with 50g of water, then pour the rest and let it sit for just 60 seconds before you open the switch. That'll give you some body while still keeping that clean filter taste. Also grind a little finer than you think you should, like one or two clicks down from your usual V60 setting. The switch is forgiving so you can mess around, but straight immersion with no agitation is what gives you that watery result.
