A librarian in Boise showed me the 2019 shelf audit and 6 of our 10 "most banned" titles were never formally challenged
Turns out the list we hand out to parents every year was put together by one volunteer in 2021 and never checked again, so now I'm asking the board to redo it from scratch. Has anyone else dealt with a recommendation list that got passed down without anyone checking the sources?
