The week my town's Facebook group finally agreed on one plumber and it saved my whole street
Two weeks ago our neighborhood group had 40 posts arguing about who to call for a burst pipe and nobody could agree on anything. Then a lady on Maple Street in Cedar Falls posted about a plumber named Ray who showed up at 11 pm on a Sunday and charged her $180 flat, no after hours markup. Within 3 days that same name got dropped in 22 different threads and people were actually posting receipts and photos of his work. I called him for a slow drain on Tuesday and he was at my door in 90 minutes, which never happens around here. The whole thing made me think we should just keep a pinned list of local people who actually show up instead of starting from zero every time. What is the one local business your neighborhood group would fight to protect if they ever closed?
