Tried the library's museum pass program for a family day and got turned away at the door
So last Saturday I loaded all three kids in the van and drove 40 minutes to the science center in Rockford using one of those free museum passes you check out from the library. I had called ahead twice to confirm they took them, and both times I got a yes. We get to the desk and the lady tells me they only accept the pass on weekdays now, and the website never got updated. I asked to see a manager and she just pointed at a tiny sign taped behind the register. We ended up at a park down the street eating gas station snacks, and honestly the kids had a better time than they would have at the museum. Here's where I'm torn, though: part of me wants to complain to the library so they fix their info, and part of me thinks it's not worth the hassle since the issue was on the museum's end. My neighbor says I should just call the museum's front office directly instead of the library, but that feels like it misses the point. What's the best way to handle this, do I email the library, the museum, or just let it go?
