Oh man, I've been there so many times. First time I saw someone smack a TV I was like nah that's dumb but then my own TV started acting up and I gave it a gentle tap and it fixed right up. Now I always try that before doing anything else, saved me a ton of money on repairs over the years. Just gotta be careful not to hit too hard or you'll break something else. Learned that one the hard way with an old monitor back in the day.
