Switched from cheap thermal paste to Arctic MX-6 after a 3 year old build started hitting 95c under load

Dropped 12 degrees after repasting that same old CPU, which finally convinced me the $8 tube was worth it over the generic stuff I'd been hoarding since 2019... anyone else notice a bigger temp swing on Ryzen chips than Intel?

Bet on it. Ryzen chips are super sensitive to bad paste (the chiplets, man). Saw a bigger drop on my 5800X than any Intel chip I've done.
