Dropped $340 on a magic screed for a 900 sq ft driveway and it fought me the entire pour
Bought a 12 foot vibrating screed last spring for a driveway job in Garland, figured it would save my back and speed things up. Thing bogged down in my 4 inch slump mix, left ridges everywhere, and I spent two hours after the pour cutting them out with a hand float while the homeowner watched from her porch. The $340 would have bought me a decent straightedge and a helper for the day. Anybody actually get these to work in stiff mix, or did I just waste a week's profit?
