Honestly thought a power trowel was overkill for a small patio job in Tacoma

Tbh I was finishing a 12x14 slab last month and the homeowner had one in his garage. He let me try it and I got a glass finish in half the time. Anyone else switch to power for smaller pours after something like that?

Wow, that's a solid point about the finish quality! A power trowel gives you that even pressure you just can't match by hand on bigger slabs. Once you see that perfect finish, it's hard to go back.

And get yourself a good set of knee pads too, because you're gonna be on that slab for a while. Trust me, your knees will thank you after the first time you do a 20x30 garage floor. That glass finish is worth the extra effort.
