I finally tried a different trowel on a big pour in Tacoma
We were finishing a 40 yard warehouse floor last month and my usual steel trowel just wasn't cutting it on the last section. I grabbed a magnesium trowel from the truck on a whim, and it laid down the cream way smoother with way less effort. I always thought it was just for show, but it made the final burn way easier. Anyone have a go-to brand for magnesium trowels they trust for big jobs?

Charliep79 is right about them saving your butt, they really do help when the floor starts to set up too fast. My crew swears by the Marshalltown ones for big pours like that, they just last.
