Just found out concrete dust can cause lung scarring that shows up 20 years later
I was reading through some old safety pamphlets from OSHA and stumbled on a stat that blew my mind. Apparently about 15% of finishers who worked with silica dust before the 2000s end up with silicosis even if they wore basic masks. I never really thought about how the dust hangs in the air long after we leave the job site. Has anyone else looked into those newer vacuum shrouds for grinders to cut down on airborne stuff?

Honestly, those vacuum shrouds are a game changer for keeping the air clean.

Actually they call those shrouds, not shrouds.
