Shoutout to the crew who said check your grade first
I spent a solid 4 hours trying to figure out why my slab was pooling water in the corner. Turns out we had a low spot in the grade that I swore I checked twice. Should have taken 30 minutes to fix, not half a day. How many of you guys double down on a mistake before stepping back?

Three decades in and I still catch myself fighting the grade instead of just walking the slope first.
