That 4 a.m. pour in Tulsa that turned into a slip hazard
We were finishing a driveway off Riverside and the air temp dropped faster than the mix set, so the surface went slick in about 20 minutes and my buddy went down hard on his knee. I ended up brooming it rough and throwing down a thin layer of sand before sunrise, but the homeowner still had a wet spot that caught their dog the next afternoon. Has anyone else dealt with a cold snap that fooled the set time on a slab that size?
