TIL a magnesium trowel is worth the extra money on hard trowel jobs

I fought using aluminum for years because magnesium costs almost double, but after three hours of wrestling a stubborn 4,000 psi slab last Tuesday I finally borrowed a buddy's magnesium float and finished in half the time. Anyone else make the switch and notice a big difference?

Totally feel you on this one. I spent almost that long on a 5k last night and my eyes were just done by the end. It's wild how fast those big puzzles can eat up an evening if you're not careful. I've found that taking a short break every hour helps me not burn out as fast, but yeah, three hours is a serious commitment. Your patience is way better than mine, honestly.
