Took me 11 days to figure out why my last two slabs in Reno kept getting those hairline cracks
Honestly this one ate up way more time than it should have. I was mixing a bit wetter than usual to make the pour easier at a shop in Reno, and the cracks kept showing up about 4 hours after I floated them. Turned out my water was around 7 gallons per yard instead of the 5.5 I normally run, so the slump was just way too high. Any of you guys got a quick test you do on site before you start pouring?
