Tried wet curing versus a spray-on cure compound on a big driveway job near Tulsa...

The owner practically begged me to use the spray stuff because it was faster. I told him no, we spent 3 days keeping burlap soaked and it was a pain but the slab came out PERFECT with zero cracks. My buddy used that spray on his last job and he was already patching 3 hairline cracks by week two. Has anyone else seen a big difference between these two methods on flatwork?

My buddy Mike runs a crew down near Broken Arrow and he tried the spray-on cure on a 30 yard pour for a car dealership lot. He bragged about how fast it went on and how he saved two days of labor. Eight days later he was driving his skid steer across it and a chunk of the surface just flaked off right in the wheel path. He ended up having to grind it all down and hit it with a seal coat just to make it look half decent. He told me flat out he'll never skip the wet cure again after that mess. Have you ever had to fix a slab that someone rushed the cure on?
