5 years of buying my own cell service and finally figured out the prepaid trick
I was paying $85 a month at Verizon for years. Then last month I switched to a prepaid plan through T-Mobile's network for like $45. Same coverage in my area (Austin), same phone, just had to buy a SIM card. Why did nobody tell me this was an option sooner? Anyone else stuck on a big carrier just out of habit?

Man, I used to think prepaid was gonna be some janky setup with bad signal, but @thomas862 I totally get why you felt that way now. I finally tried it after years of being stubborn and honestly I can't believe I was wasting money on the big guys for so long. It's really just the same service for way less cash, nothing to lose.

Yo same here I was paying $80 at AT&T for years before I realized Visible (runs on Verizon) was $25 a month. Total game changer lol what took us so long?
