A friend got me to look into the whole 'Havana Syndrome' thing last year

I always figured it was just a weird story, maybe mass hysteria or something. But then I read a report from the National Academies of Sciences from 2020. They said the most likely cause for the symptoms was pulsed radio frequency energy. That's a real panel of scientists, not some random blog. It made me pause, because I had written it off completely. The details about how the symptoms hit people in specific places like China and Cuba got to me. I'm still not sold on who or why, but I can't just call it fake anymore. Has anyone else had a conspiracy theory they dismissed that later got some legit backing?
