A guy in a Philly forum told me to stop trying to prove the moon landing was fake with bad math.

He pointed out my trajectory numbers were off by a factor of 10 and showed me the actual NASA data. Has anyone else had their whole pet theory wrecked by one simple correction like that?

Oh man, I've been there. I was dead sure that chemtrails were a real government mind control program until some guy on a weather forum showed me how contrails actually work with altitude and humidity. He linked me to a bunch of atmospheric science papers and I felt like such a fool. My whole world view crumbled in about ten minutes. Now I just laugh at my old Facebook posts about it. It's humbling but honestly kind of freeing when you realize you were just wrong about something.

Ever had that happen @baker.phoenix? My buddy swore fluoride was mind control till a dentist shut him down.
