Friend told me my moon landing photos looked fake... now I changed my whole editing workflow

He said the shadows were all pointing different directions in my shot from last July. I spent $40 on a better dehaze filter and started checking the angle of the sun before I even press the shutter. Has anyone else had a photo buddy totally wreck your editing habits?

Yeah, the "shadows don't match" comment hit me hard a few years back too. Now I literally check a sun tracker app before shooting landscapes, it's ridiculous how much one critique changes your whole process.

Forget the sun. Shadows move. Light changes. Shoot the same spot four seasons instead.
