My attempt to fact-check a 'moon landing was fake' video spiraled out of control

A friend sent me a clip about the flag 'waving' in a vacuum, and I figured a quick Google would settle it. Three hours later, I was knee-deep in forum threads about studio lighting angles, the reflectivity of astronaut visors, and the tensile strength of 1960s flagpoles. I even watched a 45-minute breakdown of shadow lengths. All I wanted was a simple answer, not a crash course in amateur astrophysics. Has anyone else fallen down a rabbit hole this deep over something that started so silly?

Welcome to the club, my search history looks like a conspiracy theory mood board now. @jessicaramirez gets it, we're all one weird video away from becoming accidental experts on space fabric. The internet turns a simple question into a full time job.
