Yeah man, I've had barbers pitch me everything from 5G conspiracies to hollow earth theories. Best move is to just nod along and focus on the haircut. @reese_hill is right about the retroreflectors though, that's a solid comeback if you wanna throw some facts back without getting into a whole debate.

Read somewhere that the Apollo crew left mirrors we can bounce lasers off of.

It's true, they're called retroreflectors. Scientists still use them to measure the moon's distance. My aim is so bad, if I tried to bounce a laser off one I'd probably miss the whole moon. I'd end up hitting a satellite or just blinding some poor astronaut on the ISS. It's a cool bit of tech that's still useful after all these years.
