My big theory fell apart over one blurry photo, and I almost didn't check it
Back in like 2011 I could spend a Saturday on a forum thread and come away believing almost anything, but these days I fact check stuff way more. Last month I spent about 3 hours building a whole timeline around a photo I found on some random blog, about why a local bridge closure in my town didn't add up. Then my buddy Dave asked me for the source and I couldn't find one, so I ran the image through a reverse search and it turned out to be from a town in Ohio, not here. I felt pretty dumb, but honestly it saved me from posting a long rant and getting roasted. Kind of miss the days when we just argued for fun and nobody demanded receipts. How do you all make sure a pic is actually from where someone says it is?
