My buddy the electrician made me question everything about 5G

I was talking to my friend Dave last Friday, he works for a local utility company in Phoenix. He said he's seen 3 different cases where new 5G towers went up right next to a neighborhood and within 2 months, half the houses had flickering lights and weird interference on their lines. I always figured that stuff was just fear-mongering from YouTube videos, but Dave has zero reason to lie to me. He showed me photos from his work tablet, actual readings from his meter showing spikes that line up with the tower activation times. Now I'm sitting here wondering how much of the anti-5G stuff is actually legit versus just noise. Has anyone else heard similar stories from actual electricians or utility workers?

@the_joel brings up a good point but wait, didn't Dave check the panels first? I used to roll my eyes at the 5G panic but hearing it straight from a utility guy with photos makes me take a second look. Definitely makes you wonder how much of this stuff gets dismissed without real investigation.

Check for loose neutrals in your panel before blaming the tower, it's way more common than you'd think.
