My mom swore the moon landing was faked, but last week she changed her tune

For 30 years my mom would not budge on the moon landing being staged, she had a whole binder of clippings from the 70s. Then I showed her a slow motion video of the flag moving in the vacuum and she just stared at it for 5 minutes. Has anyone else had a family member suddenly drop a long-held conspiracy belief like that?

Not gonna lie spencerw72, I'm kinda mixed on this one. Played devil's advocate with myself and honestly, sometimes those "feel good" posts just come off as humble brags or fishing for compliments. Like yeah congrats on being happy, but half the time it's just someone flexing their life choices on everyone else. Kinda feels like a subtle way to say "look at me, I'm winning at life" while pretending to be modest about it.
