My neighbor in Phoenix swore the 2020 election was hacked by a foreign power, but his proof was a blurry map.
Last week he came over with a printed map of Arizona. He circled three counties in red marker. Said the vote counts there jumped overnight. I looked up the official state audit reports from 2021. The numbers he showed me were from a blog, not the certified totals. He just walked out. Has anyone else had a friend use totally wrong data to back a big claim?

Oh man, the blurry map to printed map pipeline is real.

But is it really that big a deal, @corar78? People have been reading blurry maps for ages.

My 2016 self would literally cry if they saw me now squinting at a PDF of a national park map that looks like it was scanned on a potato. I used to think I was so cool with my blurry screenshots saved to my phone, navigating trails by memory and hope. Now I'm out here printing those same crappy maps on actual paper and laminating them with packing tape like a total nerd. The pipeline is real and I'm living proof it just gets worse the older you get.
