People keep mixing up the 'flat earth' and 'hollow earth' theories and it drives me nuts
I've been in this scene for a while, and a thing I see all the time is folks talking about the 'flat earth theory' when they actually mean the 'hollow earth' idea. They're totally different. One says the planet is a disc, the other says we live inside a shell with a sun at the center. I saw a video last month with over 50,000 views where the host spent 10 minutes arguing against flat earth but used pictures from hollow earth books. It matters because if you can't even get the basic idea right, your whole argument falls apart. How do you even start a real debate when the facts are wrong from the jump? Has anyone else run into this specific mix-up in discussions lately?
