PSA: Don't fall for those 'proven underground bunker plans' on Etsy

Spent $47 on a PDF that turned out to be a repurposed garden shed blueprint, and when I tried to get a refund the seller ghosted me, has anyone else gotten burned on those survival prep downloads?

Honestly, $47 for a bunker blueprint from Etsy? That should have been the first red flag. I get that people want to prep for the end of the world, but buying plans off a site that also sells crocheted cat hats and weird stickers is just asking for trouble. You probably could have found the same exact garden shed design for free on a DIY blog with a 5 minute search. It really isnt that hard to sketch out a basic underground room yourself if you have a shovel and some plywood. Feel like people are making this whole bunker thing way more complicated than it needs to be.

Oh, come on. For $47 you were expecting an actual bunker design from a Etsy shop? Those "survival prep" PDFs are usually just repurposed plans for a shed or a kids playhouse. I bought one that was literally a blueprint for a deck with some walls added. You get what you pay for on a random digital download site.
