PSA: That time a bee swarm looked like a conspiracy but was just bad luck
I run a pest control biz in Houston and last Tuesday I got a call about a weird swarm in someone's attic. The homeowner was convinced it was some government experiment cause the bees were acting aggressive and there were like 300 of them buzzing in a perfect circle. I went up there with my gear and it turned out they built a nest right next to an old HVAC duct that was leaking coolant. The cold air made them cluster up weird, not some secret plot. I vacuumed them out, sealed the duct, and the guy still texts me asking if I saw any tracking chips. Has anyone else dealt with clients jumping to wild theories over simple pest issues?

Man that sucks, I feel for you. People get so jumpy over stuff like that it's wild.

oh absolutely, @robert275 it's crazy how fast people flip out over nothing. I had a guy yell at me in a parking lot once because I was apparently "walking too slow" near his car. Like dude, chill out, I'm just trying to get to the store.
