The chemtrail thing I always rolled my eyes at turned out to be a real study on atmospheric particles
I saw a paper from a university in Boulder last year that showed they've been releasing reflective particles into the sky for cloud seeding since the 70s, and it made me wonder how much of that 'they're poisoning us' talk is just folks mixing up real science with wild guesses.

Think cloud seeding's been around way longer than most people realize though.

Does your friend ever just see something in the sky and kinda freeze up now? I got a buddy who works on a ranch out in Texas, real down to earth guy... he told me that last summer during a drought, a plane flew over and dumped this weird white powder right over his neighbor's field. He called me freaking out, saying he saw it on the news later that it was some kind of silver iodide thing for making rain. He doesn't buy the poisoning stuff, but now he just watches the sky a little more closely... like he can't unsee it. It's funny how real science can look scary if you don't know what you're looking at.
