A foreman at the Cedar Rapids site said our daily logs were basically fiction, and he was not wrong
I was showing him our new field app and he asked who actually fills in the log each night, and when I said usually whoever is least tired at 7pm, he just laughed. He said paper logs he has seen over 20 years are half handwritten at 5am the next day, so if we want the app to mean anything we should make it one tap at the pour, not an essay. Anyone get their crews to actually keep logs current, and what made it stick?
