A foreman in Nashville told me his crew runs layouts off a tablet now, and I keep going back and forth on it
I was on a call with a foreman out of Nashville last month and he mentioned his crew stopped printing full size plan sets about 8 months ago. Everything runs off tablets now, with the latest sheets pushed out every morning. He said it saved them around $400 a month in printing and the guys stopped working off old revisions. That part makes sense to me. But I keep wondering what happens when the wifi drops or a screen cracks on a job site in the rain. Curious if anyone here has moved their crew fully off paper, and how you handle the bad days.
