Just realized the free laser level app on my phone was dead on for a 12 foot cabinet run
I had a small cabinet install downtown and forgot my real laser in the truck, so I pulled up a free level app on my phone just to get a baseline. Figured it would be garbage, but when I checked it against my spirit level on a 12 foot run it was within a 16th of an inch. The phone sat flat on a scrap of 2x4 and the bubble lined up clean, no weird drift. I still wouldn't trust it for anything overhead or in bright sun, but for quick layout in a dim room it saved me a trip. What apps are you guys actually using for layout, or is this just a fluke on my phone?
