Paid $1,500 for a smart level that just tells me what my iPhone already does

Bought a fancy digital level with Bluetooth app integration for framing a basement remodel in Denver, but after three weeks the battery door broke and I realized my phone's bubble level was faster and never needed charging, so what do you use for quick layout work?

Old school 4ft level from the hardware store, never let me down yet.

I saw a guy on YouTube test those smart levels against a vintage cast iron one and the old one was actually more accurate after he dropped both. @roseb47 is right, the basic hardware store ones just work. I use a cheap 6ft level I got for 40 bucks at Menards for my basement ceiling layout and it's never let me down. That 1500 bucks could have bought a whole framing nailer and a stack of studs instead.
