Went back to a stubby pencil and paper layout after 2 years on the tablet, and my framing crew quit asking me to repeat measurements
The tablet was faster on paper but half my guys kept asking me to zoom in or hand it off, while a $1 carpenter pencil clipped to my vest just works in the rain. Anybody else keep a paper backup on layout days even with all the fancy gear?
