A guy on a web forum called my old site list "a graveyard with no map" and it changed how I save links
I used to just dump every weird old site I found into one giant bookmark folder with names like "cool site 4" and never touch them again. Last year a guy on a retro web forum looked at my list and said it was "a graveyard with no map," which stung because he was right. So I started adding the date I found each one and one line about what still works on it, like a 1999 site for elevator music that still plays real MIDI files. Now I have 62 links going back to 2018 and I actually revisit them instead of scrolling past. The weird part is half of them load faster than stuff I use daily. How do you all keep track of the old sites you dig up, or do you just let them pile up like I did?
