Found a working GeoCities page for a diner in Reno that shut down in 2003 and the guestbook still takes entries

I was poking around an old webring list I copied off a dead angelfire page about two months ago and one of the links still loaded. It was a GeoCities style fan page for a diner on Virginia Street in Reno called the Silver Skillet, last updated in April 2003. The owner posted the full menu with 1998 prices, a photo of the counter, and a note saying the place closed because the landlord raised rent by $400 a month. The wild part is the guestbook is still live and people have been signing it the whole time. There are entries from 2009, 2014, 2019, and one from three weeks ago where a guy says he used to eat there every Friday with his dad. I sat there for probably 40 minutes reading every single one. The site is on some free host that clearly never purged its old accounts. I bookmarked it and now I check the guestbook every few days like it is a slow moving group chat. Has anyone else run into a dead business site where the comment section outlived the business itself?
