Found an old webcam site that still streams a bird feeder in Nebraska
I used to check this site back in 2008 to kill time during long breaks. It still works but the video quality is so grainy you can barely tell if it's a bird or a leaf. Anyone else have a forgotten live feed they still visit once in a while?

Wait is that the one with the blue feeder that's always slightly crooked? I could be wrong but I feel like that camera got upgraded a few years back but maybe the old stream is still running in parallel or something. I remember checking a lighthouse cam in Maine around that same time period but the site redirects now and the new version has ads everywhere. The graininess kind of adds to the charm though honestly, makes it feel like you're watching something from the early days of the internet where nobody cared about 4K bird watching.

Honestly, am I the only one who actually prefers the newer streams with all the ads and the higher quality? I mean yeah the old crooked feeder setup had this vibe to it but half the time I couldn't even tell if that was a cardinal or just a blurry red blob. The upgraded camera at least lets me see actual feather patterns and not just a pixelated mess. And the ads thing I don't get the hate, like those sites gotta pay for bandwidth somehow, it's not 2003 anymore where one guy's dad was hosting it on a server in their basement. I tried going back to the old Maine lighthouse stream last winter and honestly the constant buffering and weird feedback loop noise drove me nuts, give me the crisp version any day even if I have to close a popup every 20 minutes.
